We pride ourselves on our community involvement and encourage our employees to dedicate time to our many corporate group volunteering programs that Genworth coordinate with.
Volunteering through Genworth is a fun and different way for our teams to connect whilst providing much needed assistance to our valued community partners.
St Vincent de Paul Society
For over 175 years, the St Vincent de Paul Society or Vinnies, as it is known fondly in Australia, has been lending the hand of support to people experiencing disadvantage. Through a strong network of 40,000 members and volunteers in 900 communities across Australia and many hundreds of professional services, Vinnies provides a range of programs that assist people experiencing homelessness; domestic and family violence; mental illness and addiction. A major part of Vinnies’ work is to support people who are at risk of or who are experiencing homelessness. Vinnies operates numerous homeless services across Australia including; crisis accommodation; family services; refuges for women and children escaping domestic violence; one to one case management support; access to medical, legal and financial advice; education and training; and meals programs.
Genworth partners with Vinnies in supporting those experiencing homelessness in areas such as intervention programs and keeping kids engaged with education to develop a love of lifelong learning. From participating in the 'CEO Sleepout', to volunteering at Vinnies warehouses and supporting homeless services we are there helping to reduce the large number of homeless in Australia.

Their mission is to help disconnected young people to discover greatness within, by engaging, supporting and providing opportunities to encourage and facilitate positive life choices.
