    Bridget Sakr - Chief Commercial Officer,

    Bridget has been Chief Commercial Officer at Genworth since this role was created in mid 2010. Bridget is responsible for Sales, Product Development, and Marketing, leveraging her significant commercial expertise. Prior to this appointment, and since 2003, Bridget held the role of Sales Leader at Genworth. Bridget's primary focus is on strong customer relationships, building exclusive partnerships, and excellent customer service.

    Bridget brings to Genworth 12 years of experience in the mortgage industry, having worked in Sales, Operation and Business Development. Bridget has a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Sydney, and is undertaking a Masters in Business at the University of Technology, Sydney.

  • Adrienne Church
    Partnership & Distribution Leader

    Adrienne Church - Partnership & Distribution Leader,
    Australia & New Zealand

    Adrienne started her career with Genworth eight years ago as an Account Manager for the Genworth New Zealand Sales team and was subsequently promoted to New Zealand Sales Manager.

    In her role as Segment Manager Adrienne looked after developing and delivering a clear strategy for her segment, providing strategic direction for growth and retention of new and existing customers, as well as leading a high performing sales team.

    Adrienne was Acting Sales Leader for the three months prior to her appointment as Sales Leader, and jointly relieved the Sales Leader role for six months in 2009.

  • Justin Ellis
    Segment Manager

    Justin Ellis - Segment Manager
    Major Banks & Self Insurers

    Justin joined Genworth in August 2007, initially as the Segment Manager for Regional Banks, Credit Unions and Building Societies, and moved to his current role as Segment Manager for Major Banks & Self Insurers in late 2008. Prior to joining Genworth, Justin worked at ANZ, most recently as the NSW/ACT Distribution Manager for Banking Products.

    The creation of his role, and subsequent segmentation of the Genworth Sales Team, recognises the unique needs of this segment, and strives to develop tailored customised solutions to maximise their business opportunities.

    Justin is focused on driving the implementation of his segment's strategy, and ensures all functions, both internally and externally are aligned. He also leads a high performing NSW sales team based in Sydney. Justin has a number of formal qualifications including a Bachelor of Business and Commerce from Monash University, a Graduate Certificate in Business Administration from QUT, and is near completion of a Masters of Business Management from Monash University.

    Outside work, Justin enjoys exercise and travel, and lived and worked overseas for six years in Japan in marketing and business development roles with Sony and Vodafone Japan.

  • Richard Socratous
    Segment Manager

    Richard Socratous - Segment Manager

    Richard brings over 20 years of experience in the mortgage industry to his role as Segment Manager at Genworth. During this time he has worked across all areas of mortgage lending including business development, operations and over seven years as a self employed broker/mortgage originator.

    Developing strong customer relationships and providing excellent customer service within all customer segments is fundamental to Richard's role and enables him to leverage his extensive experience in the mortgage industry.

  • Amanda Ellery
    Corporate Relationship Manager

    Amanda Ellery - Corporate Relationship Manager
    Major Banks

    Amanda has been with the Sales Team as Corporate Relationship Manager NSW since 2006. Prior to this role, she worked as a Project Manager in Genworth's Quality Department for 18 months.

    Amanda utilises her organisational and relationship management skills in her current role and is responsible for implementing strategy, process improvements and driving growth to meet targets.

    Amanda has been in Australia for 6 years and previously worked in the UK as a Relationship Manager for ScottishPower.

  • Clair Steenson
    Corporate Relationship Manager

    Clair Steenson - Corporate Relationship Manager

    Clair has been with Genworth since 2005 and is currently in the role of a Corporate Relationship Manager. Prior to this, Clair worked for two years as Project Manager within Genworth's Quality department and has previously held a Project Manager role at a financial institution.

    Clair's role utilises both her organisational and relationship management skills to develop close relationships with customers in the major and regional banks segments.

    Partnering with her customers to implement strategic initiatives and process improvements, Clair is helping Genworth provide value-add initiatives needed in today's market.

  • Michelle Ewens

    Michelle Ewens - Corporate Relationship Manager

    Michelle has 25 years experience within the banking and finance industry. Her roles have included Retail Banking, Underwriting, Broker Sales and Relationship Management. Michelle has previously worked at Genworth within the Corporate Sales team.

    In her role as Corporate Relationship Manager, Partnership and Distribution, her key responsibilities and focus is to build strong relationships with the mortgage aggregators and key lenders within the third party banking channel. Michelle is dedicated to providing exceptional customer service and holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Finance.

  • Anita Hyde

    Anita Hyde - Corporate Relationship Manager

    Anita joined Genworth in February 2012 and has 12 years experience within the banking and finance industry. Prior to joining Genworth, Anita worked in an array of roles including Business and Private Banking, Broker Sales and Retail Banking at Bankwest.

    In her current role as Corporate Relationship Manager, Anita maintains the constant objective of delivering exceptional customer service with unfailing professionalism, she strives to ensure her experience within the financial services industry is maximised within a dedicated and dynamic team.

    Anita is currently completing her Masters of Business Administration at the University of Technology Sydney.

  • Shelley Bird

    Shelley Bird - Relationship Manager

    Shelley joined Genworth in 2007 having worked in the mortgage industry since 2000 where she spent four years with Commonwealth Bank in a variety of roles including personal lending management, and over three years experience as a mortgage broker.

    In her role as a Relationship Manager, Shelley is able to build on her wide-ranging knowledge of all aspects of the mortgage industry, as she seeks to build and strengthen relationships with Genworth's key customers.

  • Gavin Turrell

    Gavin Turrell - Relationship Manager

    Gavin joined the Genworth Sales Team as a Relationship Manager in 2004, after migrating to Australia from the UK. Prior to coming to Australia, Gavin worked as a Sales Manager for the Payment Protection arm of Genworth Financial in the UK.

    In his current role, Gavin manages one of Genworth's key relationships; working closely with the customer to resolve day to day issues; partnering to implement strategy, and crucially ensuring overall that the customer receives the best possible service from Genworth, across all fronts.

  • Greig Holston
    Relationship Manager

    Greig Holston - Relationship Manager

    Greig joined Genworth in 2011 as a Relationship Manager after spending four years as a Home Finance Manager with Westpac. He started in the property and finance industry in 2000 and has a complete understanding of all aspects of lending including general banking, mortgage finance (including LMI) and financial planning.

    Greig believes in effective communication to strengthen and build long term relationships with beneficial outcomes for Genworth’s customers.

  • Yianni Socratous
    Relationship Manager

    Yianni Socratous - Relationship Manager

    Yianni joined Genworth in August 2011 as a Relationship Manager, with more than nine years experience in the mortgage and finance industry. During this time, he worked for a boutique finance company that specialises in mortgage management and balance sheet funds management and asset lending.

    Yianni hopes to build and support partner relationships by utilising his extensive experience in all facets of mortgage lending including credit and risk assessment, arrears management, litigation, portfolio management, industry regulation, retail lending and investment origination.

  • Brendon Bonner

    Brendon Bonner - Relationship Manager

    Brendon is a long-standing member of our Queensland Sales Team, having been with Genworth for over 13 years. Over this time, Brendon has developed close relationships with customers, predominantly in the mortgage management space, to whom he continues to provide with continued support and high levels of service.

  • Brett Holland
    Corporate Relationship Manager

    Brett Holland - Corporate Relationship Manager

    Brett joined Genworth's Queensland Sales Team in October 2007 as a Relationship Manager, working closely with customers to build a strong understanding of the importance of risk management.

    Prior to life in the corporate world, Brett spent eight years in the Royal Australian Navy, including two years in East Timor.

  • Jo Fitzroy-Kelly

    Jo Fitzroy-Kelly - Corporate Relationship Manager

    Jo joined Genworth in 2005, as New Zealand Sales Manager. Having spent over 18 years in the mortgage industry her experience is varied, having had roles in lending management, business development, wealth management and a period as a self-employed broker.

    In March 2010, Jo relocated to Sydney to commence a role as Corporate Relationship Manager, NSW & NZ.

    Working alongside some of Genworth's key customers, Jo's focus is on understanding lenders' key strategic goals and finding ways to optimise joint opportunities.

    Of prime importance to Jo is the ability to build strong relationships with her customers, allowing for greater effectiveness in supporting their needs.

  • Wayne O’Connor

    Wayne O’Connor - Relationship Manager

    Wayne joined Genworth in August 2011 as a Relationship Manager and brings more than seven years experience in the finance industry both in Australia and overseas.

    Wayne has extensive experience in relationship management, business development and has a strong understanding of credit, having worked with two major banks in his previous roles.

    In his current role as a Relationship Manager, Wayne hopes to utilise his experience to build strong partnerships with new and existing customers.

  • Steve Smith
    Corporate Relationship Manager

    Steve Smith - Corporate Relationship Manager

    Steve has been with Genworth since 1993, when the market comprised of four LMI companies and witnessed the market consolidation and emergence of GE as it moved through Gemico/GEMIS to Genworth.

    Prior to that, Steve spent some time in property development funding with Citicorp and later Beneficial Finance. In his earlier years, he managed a number of branches for a finance company.

    Steve is a licensed land agent, qualified valuer and a land economist with a degree in Commerce. He loves the day-to-day customer interaction that is part of his job.
